FASHION STATEMENT

Ever since school reopened, lessons have been getting more interesting, and the FUN in school just accelerates. Haha. I look forward especially to recess, where everyone goes crazy. :D Just looking at somebody laugh can crack one up. Somebody like KAITANG, especially. Not funny also laugh. Lols.

The biggest thing that happened in school was the retirement of dearest Mrs.D . It can be nice, and it can be not nice. Nice as in we dont have to keep looking out for her, or running away whenever she appears. Not nice, as in Bowen has lost her icon. I know that after i graduate one of the few lovely memories i have of Bowen would be her. (:

Today, i had fun as usual. During recess and A.Maths, especially. Hahas! :D But after school i had some bad news, and it totally sucked. Dont wanna talk about it. Its just a bummer. Due to that, i couldnt keep to my plan and went home with Amelia, Sczewe and Felicia instead. On the way to Hougang Mall to take a train, i decided to go to the library with Sczewe and Felicia. At the library, i bumped into this sweet girl from our school. We sat next each other when we took the E Diagnostic Test, although we were from different classes and she's just very sweet la. :D

When we were done borrowing, we accompanied Sczewe to the Value $$ Shop and i bought tidbits, haha. Well, i cant resist temptations. (: Then, we went to the optical shop. Felicia was buying something. On the way down, saw Harvey and friends. Waved and was about to leave, when he called my phone. I was already down the escalator, okay. He say what, " Hey, can come up anot? Liu take escalator fall down. Chelsie, Weilin they all here also. "

Of course i not that stupid to believe him. I didnt even see Liu they all in Hougang Mall. So i went up to see what he was up to. But really, Chelsie they all were they. Liu was on the chair, and when they saw me coming keep pretending Liu fall down. Haha! Quite funny la. Fakers. :D Thenafter went into Cafe Cartel. Only E4s. Then after awhile the E3s came. Very funny la, 9 of us squeeze into one table. And there is this E3 guy, drank so many cups of water. Lols! Only 2 people eat, but the cafe served free flow of bread and water. so paiseh.

Then they left, and Liu and Chelsie rushed to tuition. So i went home with Weilin. Today is quite alright. :D Except for that afternoon. Yucks.

Today, i received my higher chinese 'O' levels results. When i saw the list, i was so stunned Kaitang asked me to relax. Ya, i didnt do well. I was aiming for a B3, but ended up with a B4. When people know about it, i know that they must be really surprised. Im surprised too. I didnt expect As, but a B3 would do for me. B4. When i sat at the side, i started thinking of alot of things. What would my parents, friends and relatives say? How can i do well for my Higher Chinese exam when my normal 'O' levels are like this? Should i drop or continue? What will my father say?

At that point i felt so stressed, i cried when Cressa talked to me. Joan and Kaitang comforted me and Joan gave me a highlighter that she won. I really appreciate that! I know, cry yesterday today cry again. Seriously, it was my fault we lost in the relay. I ran first but lagged behind, causing them to fall back and ended up last. My heart really beat fast when i jogged across the field and seeing Zumei running towards the finishing line. I felt so damn guilty, i started crying when Liu said it was alright. Ya, Im a good for nothing. Ugly, stupid and a failure at evrything.

I started secondary school as a hardworking girl in Sec1, even getting good level positions. Then came Sec2, where i everyday stayed back to play and have fun. Naturally my results dropped drastically. This was the year which i have the most regrets about. I regretted not working hard, i only knew how to play. I cried when i was streamed to 3E4. My clique went to 3E1,2,3. But, I never regretted going to my present class. They are really a bunch of enthusiastic and fun people. Even in Sec3, my grades were getting worser. I was too lazy and never bothered about studying. When i failed for an important English test, my friends whom i known since Sec1 was shocked. English was my best subject in school but i managed to flunk it. Thankfully, i managed to scrape through and promote to Sec4.

Sec4. My secondary school days are coming to an end. I do not want to leave the school with results that i would not be proud of. I knew all along that i needed a jolt, something that would wake me up. My results happen to be it. I do not want to keep empty promises to myself. Wake up, Jocelyn.

Haven`t been posting for a long time. I`m really damn tired.. There are problems with the PAL3 performance, and its stressing me out even when im not supposed to. I just feel its a pity to cancel it. I mean, i like the script, but obviously i know that its not good enough. And i coudn`t get the cast. That is one of the biggest problem. I got a feeling that it really is going to be cancelled but then, will have to see how it goes in the end lor.. BUT, i must really thank the Jan Team `cos they seriously spent alot time just discussing about it. Thank You..! ( :

Saturday, 6 January.

CCA Open House is just this Friday. Fionna, Lile and i went to buy tiles at Defu Lane on Saturday. We coudn`t find it at all, and we kept walking until a uncle directed us there. The boss was a kind man, who gave us drinks when he asked how we reached. We bought a hundred tiles, and some small cute mosiac tiles that we saw and liked. :) Then we took a cab down to Heartland Mall, and had a late lunch at Yoshinoya. We called the flyers and booth people but they didnt need anything except a table cloth and ribbons. We went to Popular and bought the markers, glue, string and ribbons, but coudn`t find the cloth. So we went to a nearby shop to buy it. Then, we walked to Macdonald`s to rest and write words on the back of the tiles. Though it took a long time, but it was really fun. :D Afterwards, i took a cab down to King's Road to my aunt`s house to celebrate me Grandma`s birthday. I just made it in time for dinner. Happy Birthday Ah Ma..! <3

Tuesday, 9 January.

Today had assembly, and Toshi was caught for his hair. So poor thing, `cos he sat directly behind and Mrs. D saw it. After that, had an early recess. It was really good, cos there were lesser people in the canteen. Went for AMaths, going to be taught by Mr Tang cos Mdm Mah is going to be away for 3 long weeks... ) : Binomial Theorem is damn hard la. Then went for HCL with Kaitang. The essay was fun to do..! I said i wanted to open a flower shop. Then still must draw pictures. :D Afterwards, it was recess again at 12.30. Again, very good. Then we had eng and elective, 3 periods each. It passed by quickly.. At 3.30, Layyen and i went for choir. Some seniors came as well. I can see some ppl reluctant to shake, but i understand. `Cos when i was in lower sec, i didnt wanna dance too. lols! But now i fully understand. Looks like evryone has to be a senior to experience the feeling of responsibility. :) Finally, reached home at 7.

Happy New Year..! (:

Its 2007 already! Time really flies, its 'O' levels year already. This year will be my last year in Bowen. Last year, but still another busy year. There is so many things to do but so little time.

January - CCA Open House

Pal3 First Performance in school on 19 Jan ( impt! )

February - Student Council Investiture

Pal3 Second Performance in school on 9 Feb

March - Exams

Pal3 Third Performance in school on 2 Mar

April - SYF

CCA Open House is held on the second Friday of January, but the performance is on the following Tuesday during Assembly. Its only 2 weeks away but we still have not finish the preparations! Can only pray all goes well.

Pal3's first performance is very important to me. Its the product of my team's hard work, and i dont want anything to go wrong. This show is open to the rest of the school to participate in. If you want to showcase your talent, or for example you have a band that you have formed with your friends, just come and sign up to perform on the Monday of the second week of January. This booth is held in front of the Student Council's room and open during lunch-time. Dont be shy!
