FASHION STATEMENT

I'm back from Malacca already! (: The trip was really really really fun. Everyday there would always be things to do and new things to learn. Choir also bonded and is not like before! We are now stronger and ready for SYF! :D

On the first day, we met in school at 6.30. I slept late the night before so couldnt wake up. Then everyone arrived and we saw Baby Tanya. So cute! The trip to immigration and till we reached Malacca was so long la! It made us feel bored; so we sang songs. (: Then we alighted at Jaya Jusco, to shop for things like cup noodles so we could eat in the night. This was the first encounter. ((: We reached WaterFront City Resort quickly soon after. My room mates were Layyen, Lifang, Phillina, Fionna and Cassandra. We were so excited! We went up to the apartment and it was so big. There were 3 rooms but evrybody decided to sleep in the master bedroom together. We unpacked and went for lunch.We had session with the clinician Mr Arwin Tan. He was very lively. (: We had practice sessions and after dinner, had the concert A Timeless Noel. Those X'mas songs were so powerful evrybody sang along! After that, we had a committee meeting and then i went to spot check all the rooms. I slept at 12.30.

On the second day, we had breakfast, then warm-ups with Foong Foong. It was second encounter! Same block too! :D After that we had a session with Dr Wong Su San. It was very fun! It was followed by a session with Mr Joshua Habermann. He helped us alot with pitching. And some people said he was handsome. lols! Then we broke into sectionals and Altos came to my room. We practice the Disney songs because we were performing tonight. It was last minute and abit nerve wrecking for us. We had dinner, than went for the concert; Colours Of The World. We were the choir to open the concert. So scary! But when we started singing, it became easier. :) As usual had meeting, then spot check then slept late.

The third day was hectic. We had to check whether the gowns were ironed properly for the last concert. Most of the time we had free time to rest our voice. Many people were losing their voices already, so Yuanting went around giving vitamin Cs. After dinner we had a last minute practice then went to the ballroom. It was scary la, cos we were the last choir to came in. Then evryone start to scared already. We were the second to perform. Evryone was so tense. We didnt want to disappointed Mr Foong. Especially when TKSS was there and he was their co-conductor. Im really proud of the choir. They really put in effort. (: Hope we can get more ppl during the CCA open house. At night we celebrated with a party. It was our last day. Third encounter on stage! (:

Last day was rush. We had to pack up and assemble after breakfast. My apartment was the slowest because we were tired from talking till morning. Fourth encounter in the foyer! (: Presumably the last. ): Then we went to Jonker Street. It was damn hot and evrybody didnt want to do anything. We went to Mahkota next. It wasnt very big, but i bought many things there for my family. Fifth encounter! ((: Then we gathered and left for Singapore.
