im nt surprised at today's match. Germany beat Portugal 3-1 for the third placing. but de match tad im most looking forward to is de finals, France Vs. Italy.

today we had to attend a career seminar. at de start of de programme we had
Prof. KC Chan and
Mr Adrian Loi from
Yakun, to give us a talk.
Prof. Chan said tad he was headhunted by another company hu offered him twice de amount he earned at de japanese company. so by de time he reach 37 he was earning
a million dollars a year. i tink after tad i wasnt really paying attention because i was counting i how much he was earning a month and de amount before he was headhunted. but i didnt get far because i forgot 1 million dollars have how many zeros. i gave up.
i passed by many Yakun outlets before, but i wasnt interested because i thot it was a coffeeshop. i dont like to drink coffee ma. den when i saw de menu on de screen i was attracted to de cheese toast. hees. Mr Adrian Loi is de youngest son of Yakun, he oso looks lyk him from de picture.
24 outlets so got 24 ovens.
aft tad we all had a break. we were given
Old Chang Kee currypuffs. so hot! i drank finish de water. den we were almost late for our courses, nearly couldnt get seats.
de first course i chose was
Hospitality and Tourism course. de speaker was Mrs Susan Yeo from
Temasek Polytechnic, de course manager. first impression was she veri elegant, but her red specs make her look cool. (: i tink tad i will try 4 tis course, cos i veri interested in it. i really really hope can get in.
my second course is
SME. heh heh. actually my dream is to set up my own business with frens. but muz really tink hard about it. de speaker was ex-bowenians,
Mr Alvin Chua and
Mr Eric Teo. the air-con man and de car man. air-con man was the captain of
Hemingway and he lead dem to win de hse champions for 3 years. he was oso de best runner among all de boys. den
Hoonsiang was oso in de course so evrybody say tad he is like de air-con man liddat cos dey both haf alot in common. hahas.
aft tad we had to go to de hall, so juz b4 tad

Rina and i went toilet first. when we came back de hall was nearly packed. then de teacher hu was toking on de microphone go and call out our names in front of evrybody. so embarassing evryone watching. cant stand it.
our final speaker was
Ms Zaibun, a spunky 59 year old active woman with red hair. she was really cute with her actions n evryting. she threw prizes like small stuff toys to get us motivated and all. hahas. i guess i wasnt paying attention becos i was tickled by her. it was really great to hear her talk anyway. (:
aft de seminar, i changed into my
Pal 2 shirt and then we left 4
Xinmin Secondary. we were goin to attend
MOE Excel Fest and presenting Pal 2 to de teachers frm de North District. halfway
Giolinni and i stopped at 7-11, den we gt separated frm our seniors and we gt lost. i thought de pri sch was de sec sch and so we walk 1 big round to de entrance of de skool. haiyo..
dere were mani teachers hu wandered into our booth n we spent time xplaining our programme to dem. mani skools were dere oso with their projects.
Maris Stella Primary School boys were veri adorable. their mascot was a tree hu walked around. Giolinni say he look lyk kangaroo cos he has a pocket in front. LOL. den he went to tok to de tree. de boys were sweet too. out of boredom we went to play games with prizes. when we play fishing den we suppose to fish de answer den de boy bend down to help us separate de ans. so nice!
i had a great time today. hopefully i wuld noe wad i wan to do in future.
